today is the kind of day that starts with freddie mercury, and a shot of caffeine (with a caffeine chaser) before you’re even fully awake. today is the kind of day that will be productive and destructive at the same time.
last night was strange, and wonderful. that’s all I’m going to say.
my phone is only functioning in speaker mode. yes…my brand new, four times replaced, pain-in-the-ass phone is broken. I’m trying to be positive, so that I don’t burn every verizon store to the ground.
the way I look at it, I’m bonding with my community, you know? now, the entire street can enjoy my daily morning conversation with my mother, while I walk my dog. I think it’s bringing us all closer together.
I’ve been so overwhelmed working on a big project. trying some things that are way over my head, but the nerd in me is excited to dive in anyway. I’m not a developer, but right now, that’s my job. I keep telling myself that I am being put in this position for a reason, the things I am learning now will be useful later… so just keep soaking it all up. by the end of this thing, javascript will be my bitch.
but right now? I’m going to go on a yoga break, play with my puppy, and drink more coffee.
- Evil Kevin: I feel like programming is an RPG with an open environment and no mods to save you
- Evil Kevin: ...I need a minute to absorb that level of nerd
- Mango: that might be the nerdiest thing you have ever said to me hahaha
aw, i miss you too. yes please!
Finding a super cute pair of heels that you absolutely love, and then realizing that they would make you 6’3”.
Last Bottle is a wonderfully simple way to expand your wine-drinking horizons, at surprisingly low prices (generally about 50% less than retail).
Granted, it lacks the instant gratification of picking up a bottle at your local booze store, but who doesn’t love getting bottles of delicious wine in the mail? It’s better than CHRISTMAS.
you have ruined a great thing, sir.
