Feist and Mastodon to Release Split 7" →
In an interview with MTV News Canada, Mastodon’s Troy Sanders says that they’re actually taking Feist up on her offer to collaborate. The metal act will cover a Feist song and in turn, Feist will take a Mastodon song and “pretty it up” for a split 7”, which they plan to release for next year’s Record Store Day.
Kind of awesome.

I swear.
Surprise meetings only happen on days in which I planned on staying hidden away in my cave. Luckily, there are good things ahead. One of my most favorite people happens to be coming through town, and he has promised me a lovely evening. I foresee laughter and smiles, hopefully no bloodshed via Dante.

I have this reoccurring dream that I am running a very industrious train station in the forest, with ryan gosling (as a lumberjack), and kurtwood smith (as red foreman). I’m not even going to dive into the possible meaning of this one.

Life stuff.
Our building got broken into. Apparently this is their third attempt, they’re after the vault below us. I’m oddly very excited about this, I feel like I am in the midst of a heist movie, and should be working on a catch phrase. I have been advised to stop working here alone late at night, but I think that I’m just going to get a shotgun. That’s pretty practical, right?
